Annual Auction – Please help with donations

SAVE THE DATE! The Annual Auction will be held Thursday, March 30 at Slate, located at 54 W. 21st Street. This is P.S. 40’s largest fundraiser of the year and an exceptionally fun night out for parents and faculty. The auction features a number of different elements including a live auction, a raffle for outings with your child’s favorite teacher and an online auction that will start March 27. Some auction items are lovingly created by our children (Class Art Projects) under the direction of parents. All other auction items are donated – from tickets to sporting events, Broadway shows and music concerts, restaurant and store gift certificates, gym and museum memberships, to one-of-a-kind opportunities such as attending the Tony Awards and your child becoming “P.S. 40 Principal for a Day.”
To make this event a success, we need you to draw on your contacts and experience to solicit wonderful auction items. Do you know someone who works in the hotel, music or sports industry who can donate? Don’t be shy! Ask your hair stylist, your kids’ piano teacher, your summer camp. No item is too small!
