Monday, January 15 – Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day – No School
The Pre-K application opened on January 10. If you have a child born in 2020 submit your application at myschools.nyc by March 1st. Click HERE to learn more about the Pre-K application process.
The Kindergarten application deadline is Friday, January 19th. If your child was born in 2019 submit your application at myschools.nyc.

Coming Up:

Monday, January 22, 8:35am -9:15am – PARENT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! Choral and band concerts are coming up soon. Volunteers can join us in the auditorium for a riser set-up tutorial. The risers are the moveable steps that the children stand on for the performance. They must be installed and removed for each of the upcoming concerts and rehearsals. The more volunteers the better and faster the process will be. If you can attend the tutorial on January 22nd please email at jknight3@schools.nyc.gov. To help the concerts run smoothly parent volunteers are also needed to help with concert set-up on the day and for for rehearsals which includes moving instruments from the music room to the auditorium. The 4th & 5th grade choral concert is scheduled for Wednesday, February 28th at 9:00am, the 2nd & 3rd grade concert is scheduled for late March and the 4/5 Band Performance is in May. More details on dates and times will be emailed soon, in the meantime please consider volunteering to help Ms. Tomasewski with set-up.

Wednesday, January 24 – Photo Re-Take Day. Click HERE to sign up for re-takes no later than Friday, January 19. Yearbook group photos will also be taken on this day - these include 4th & 5th Grade Bands, Track Team, Student Council and the 5th Grade graduating class group photo.
